I heard green is the new black nowadays. A colleague of mine came to my desk today and said that green is so environmentally friendly color that it became the IT color! I’ve never realized that, except that green nail polishes never looked so good! To celebrate the week of ever so colourful nail polish, I matched my top and eye make up with my nail polish.

And you’re a beauty indeed, when will you ever be mine? 17″ would be perfect! With 2GB of memory, I could almost say goodbye to painting my nails during working hours and in between image editing.

Although I’ve complained to my friend that my perfect saturday afternoon was ruined by a nonsense tantrum from someone, but today I wake up with a new attitude. I thought being negative is not the way to begin a week with, so last night being the person that I always am, simple-minded, I do something that is completely beyond me to pick up my mood. That is, putting a shocking pink nail polish. Yes! I finally put other tha deliciously dark nail polishes on my nails! I felt all giggly just by looking at it. I’m india mood for love.

On top of that I have a colourful package sent by a darlin friend to splash abit of colour to my nail polishes collection. Meet the new tropp on my nail polish collection, from left to right, The “IT” Color, Green-Wich Village, That’s Hot! Pink.

I had a perfect Saturday afternoon. Went to the office to finish up the first page of a website. Followed by grocery shopping in Ranch Market in Oakwood with my daughter and a girlfriend. It was excellent! We pig out on food like we always do. We choose a fresh salmon and ask them to cut it into sashimi pieces. A bowl of salad, a grilled john dori fillet in lemon herbs butter and a barbeque chicken with baked potato on the side. A cup of coffee to complete the meal. The perfect wooden table inside the cafe filled with the bittersweet coffee aroma from the illy coffee they served. An endless thoughtfull and meaningless conversation. How could it not be a perfect afternoon?

I learned one thing about coffee though today. While trying the new coffee machine which only pressed coffee from grind coffee which has been preserved in a capsul, the guy that sell the machine told us that an expresso is best served without sugar or if need be brown sugar is the best choice. Because brown sugar will bring out the bitterness within the coffee whereas white sugar will only make the acid surface, hence the tinge of sour taste.

When everyone was so busy lookin for a bottle of Chanel Blue Satin, I was playin cool. Cause I thought, it was never really my kinda thing. It looked so much like OPI Russian Navy, deep dark blue with lots of shimmer. Really, it was too bright for me.

But I was wrong! I fell in love from the very first time I swipe the brush on my nail! One coat is all it takes. Usually, I will need 2 coats to get the desired colour. But with this one, one coat and I’m ready to go. Yes only one! The deep dark blue colour with less shimmer than the Russian Navy is really what makes me fall in love!

Udah jam 6 masih di kantor? Kayaknya akhir2 ini udah bukan hal yang aneh lagi de! Padahal dulu nih … dulu banget (exaggerating a bit) jam 5 kurang 5 menit udah beres2 meja udah siap2 turun. Kalo sekarang, jam 6 udah beres ajah kerjaan kayaknya langsung girang banget. Sampe harus parade ke sebelah dan ke bos baru :p

Sebelnya, kalo harus stay back gini luapernya gak ketulungan! Pengennya nyemil apa gitu! Bos baru ajah sampe bingung, dia bilang “you’re a big eather eh?”, I must agree with her I’m a big eater indeed. Seperti biasa, grup gila combined akhirnya pesen Delivery Wendy’s walaupun disaster banget pemesanannya. Gak ada ini itulah … terus si mba-nya harus tahan diri dengan pemesan yang cekikikan mulu di telp :P, biasalah lagi sibuk gila pada kumat semua.

Now I’m waiting for my baked potato chili & cheese with extra cream cheese to arrive. Oh and an extra chili beef soup 

Nah untuk besok pagi enaknya memulai hari dengan apa ya? Apalagi kalo bukan dengan mengunjungi Strabucks :LOL: Gue bahkan udah dapet list dari semua orang pada mau titip apa besok pagi, even bos besar gue begging for Americano, without milk, without sugar dengan gaya “cunihin” kalo kata si Bapak :p

Just to satisfy my craving, the perfect breakfast would be 1) A cup of latte with 2 teaspoon of sugar and 2) Blueberry cheese cream bagel.

When I came to the office on Wed Morning, there’s a cup of latte sitting on my desk with a chewing gum and a note written on yellow post it. The bubbly OCD girl is celebrating her 1 year anniversary with the secretariat. Thank god she survived that long

In the mean time, coffee will help to make me focus on my work today.

Today I did the following:

Woke up earlier than the usual and did morning prayer.

Help my colleague in briefing all ushers involve on Friday visit, fix the setting of the room, help the other colleague with documents concerned with the visit and post a release on this.

Get a haircut during lunch time with my favourite hairdresser. I told him, do what you wish as long as its easy to maintain and it makes my chubby cheek less obvious. So he gave the fringe and refuse a bob (which I didnt really asked for) because he said its soooo over and he gave me the bob 1 year ago alredy :p

On top of that I manage to get my eyebrows waxed as well. Am so happy. My eyebrows are well groomed now! Its not the bushy rounded usual self anymore.

Before and after the haircut, my driver also managed to get 2 packages located at the opposite ends of Jakarta sent by Ms. Distributor from Atlanta. With the aid of bubble wrap that my driver bought me in Mayestik, envelopes that i managed to snatched beforehand and several stationaries I’m able to packed every good according to its rightful owner on my journey 1) Hairdresser - Office & 2) Office - Home.

Got home before my baby went to sleep, eat at home, and tucked my baby to sleep.

Am so happy! Caused I managed to be super duper effective today.

I know its been long overdue, but I want to post these pictures taken from the event that the secretariat held in collaboration with the ministry of tourism and culture last May. Kudos to all team members which have work hand in hand to make this event successful.
