The Blue Box

Lanvin Shoe BoxesI want this blue box, no not the Tiffany blue box. But Lanvin blue shoe boxes *sigh*. I saw the most beautiful grey pumps at Harvey Nichols, and it has the most luxurious leather I known but I do not want to think about the shoes as the price will make me cries for years to come.

The Blue Box

Next time, I will

I always love Hotel Tugu in Malang. I thought its not just a hotel but it’s a whole different experience on its own. They give you a whole package of the old dutch used to have their life here in java land. Evening tea, risjtaffel and all sort. The peak of it is the coffee shop and bakery at the street side which is oh so antique looking having all sort of european influence dessert like the ricotta cheese cake, apple crumble and apple strudel. Not to mention those big sausage bratwurst style. They also have mixture of jajanan pasar and my fave es drop made in Blitar.

Anyway next time, must stay again in Hotel Tugu. Mommy doesn’t want to this time, too bad. Me love it too much! What a relaxing way to end my holiday. Too bad, really.

Oh and I check on the bar, its so lovely with all the antique decor ala chinese town. Arghhh too bad really!

I brought myself apple crumble from the bakery.

Maybe I will reminisce the hotel from my room in jakarta.

Next time, I will

Accident do happen!

Silly me accidently glued back the hearts which I purchase from toko dua amoi the wrong way. Now the hearts face opposing direction. Cha was playing with it until she get one of the heart off. She was sooo in love with the flat, I have to chase her around to get it off her. She keep saying “punya mimi?” as if to assure me … are you sure its yours, not mine?

Adorable, I know!

Well dare I say, I love the result. It has character. So am gonna keep it for a while.

Late lunch at Tulung Agung

We were driving to Tulung Agung yesterday afternoon in hope for Sate Kambing. Unfortunately most of the shop were closed. So as were heading back to my gran’s house in Sawahan we saw the much talk about Nasi Gurih Ayam Lada Hj Mamik of Tulung Agung. My uncle have tried to drag our ass here since the day we arrive.

The rice is much like nasi uduk with curry chicken and lotsa chilly. The side dish is sambel goreng ati and urap.

It’s very delicious but too bad I just heard a bad news so I can’t really down my food.

Goodbye the lady with a long hair

An ex colleague of mine died today from multiple stab wounds by robber(s) that enter by force to her home. She was found by her brother (if I’m not mistaken) on her bed, lifeless. She was the only one left in the house because the entire member of the family were on ied prayer.

It shows how fragile one’s life could be.

How stupid the robbers are by easily taking one’s life unnecessarily where they could have make her unconcious. The multible stab wounds were on different parts which again shows stupidity.

This truly makes me angry and sad.

I held my daughter tight to my chest and kiss her forehead when I heard the news because I cannot begun to imagine how her parents felt going home to the tragedy.

My prayers will always be with you dear friend. May you rest in peace.

Goin to the grandparents’

Haiya, I haven’t been bloggin for quite sometime. It seemed that whenever I decided to write something, other thing just pop up.

Anyway, will be going back to blitar tonight. I can’t wait to see cha. She went 2 weeks earlier with Mom for the commemoration of the 40th day of my grandad’s death. So yeah, 2 quite week without cha. How lonely.

Anyway, a lot has happened for the last couple of weeks. Was spending the last 2 weekend in the concotion of my besties laughter. Truly feels like the old time. Once in a while, besties are like the drug one should take to keep us sane.

Spring Cleaning

A while ago, my blog was off limits for the public. I always thought whatever means in the internet that we can used for social networking can be used to share information (off which limited to those that we want to share) not to peep on another’s life. I like to write diary, and most of my diary entries are as absurd as the posts on my blod. I just love to write on how feel. But somehow the visitor on my blog has reached more than 100 a day, which IMO is alot considering I dont really know half of these people nor they leave any indication that they know me.

I really dont think that there are one hundred of my besties that wants to know about my life that much. I can count on 20 at the best. For those close enough with me, I know who have been reading my blog because once its shut down some people were asking me about it. I guess reading people’s personal blog is the easiest way to get to know the lates in your friend’s life. Very convenient!

So in an attempts to start a clean slate and to put the visitor at halt, I did a spring cleaning inspired by a friend of mine. I make the entire entries private and start from scratch. I guess once in a while decluttering is very important.
